What do I need to do to change accountants?
Changing accountants couldn't be easier. A quick telephone call or e-mail to arrange a meeting with one of our Managers or Directors is all it takes. An informal, no obligation meeting with a Torevell Dent director will allow us to learn about you, your business, and understand your requirements, providing us with a basis to devise a strategy for the future of you and your business.
Once the decision has been made to join us, the only requirement we need from you is the signing of an Engagement Letter which basically specifies the work we have agreed to do for you. At this stage we will also require proof of identification, by way of a passport or photographic driving licence and two current utility bills.
To ensure smooth transition between reporting accountants, we will inform your previous accountant of your decision to change and at the same time request that any relevant information from their records relating to your affairs is passed to us.
What if there is additional work to be undertaken?
We will let you know in advance if any additional work is required. Our charges for the additional work will be at our normal charge-rates. We will be able to give you an estimate of the additional costs before undertaking the work if you wish.
Do you charge me each time I contact you for advice? No – our fee quotation includes routine telephone support and discussions regarding general queries.
